  • Picturing the horse diversely in diversity

“A politics of animal picturing must necessarily concern itself with seeing that which it is not permitted to see, and with getting others to see it. it is not enough to consider the ways in which animals are pictured, for that is to overlook, literally those areas in which they are kept deliberately out of sight” Picturing the Beast. animals, identity and representation. by Steve Baker

  • Picturing for research

recently my work is being developed for use as data in research on horse welfare. I am developing my ongoing work from the past thirty years with documenting details of the horses. Now defining these details as welfare indicators, such as the horses face in movement. I am currently using much time and resources on producing data sets to be used in this research with over a million photographs being taken just during past year. its a huge undertaking in working hours and high expenses. this is more or less totally unfunded and I rely on donations to be able to do this work so do please help to make it possible this research possible. Your contribution will make a difference!
